Food Safety Management Program with Agricultural Development Polytechnic of Medan (Indonesia)

The FSM Training Course with Agricultural Development Polytechnic of Medan has been successfully organized from 15 to 16 April 2022. The activity was hosted by the Agricultural Development Polytechnic of Medan and conducted virtually through the zoom platform. The Program was attended by students, university staff, researchers, government officials and employees from food-related companies. The number of participants is forty-seven (47). A lecturer with noted expertise in food safety from Japanese academia was invited and shared his knowledge and practical know-how based in his broad experience on food safety. The curriculum was comprised of essential knowledge on food safety, which consists of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), Good Hygiene Practice (GHP), Japan Food Safety Standard (JFS), Food Safety Management (FSM) system, and audit skills.
