Food Safety Management Training Course under Partnership with Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Project Year 2021

The Food Safety Management Course with the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) was held virtually on 25 and 26 November 2021, hosted by Faculty of Food Science and Technology. The Program was attended by students and staff from UPM, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, government officers, researchers and employees from food-related companies and agricultural community enterprises. The number of the participants is sixty-five (65) for the HACCP Session and forty-nine (49) for the Audit Session. A total of 3 experts in food safety from Japan and Thai academia shared their knowledge and expertise in the Program. The curriculum was arranged based on consultation between UPM, MAFF Japan and the Project. It was comprised of essential knowledge on food safety, which consists of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), GHP (Good Hygiene Practice), JFS (Japan Food Safety Standard), Food Safety Management (FSM) system and audit skills.
