Food Safety Management Training Course under Partnership with Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA), Project Year 2021

The Food Safety Management Course with the Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) was held virtually on 27 to 28 November 2021, hosted by Faculty of Food Science and Technology. The Program was attended by students mainly from VNUA, university staff, researchers and employees from food-related companies. The number of the participants is two hundred and eighty two (282). A lecturer with noted expertise on food safety from Japanese academia was invited and shared their knowledge and practical know-how based on their broad experience on food safety. The curriculum was arranged based on consultation between VNUA, MAFF Japan and the Project. It was comprised of essential knowledge on food safety, which consists of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), GHP (Good Hygiene Practice), JFS (Japan Food Safety Standard), Food Safety Management (FSM) system and audit skills.
