
The Food Analysis Program with Vietnam National University of Agriculture
The 1st Food Analysis Program with Vietnam National University Agriculture was successfully conducted from 5 – 8 April 2022 in Faculty of Food Science and Technology of VNUA. The program was attended by 113 students consisting of 97 students, lecturers and researchers from VNUA, 11 participants from other universities and 5 participants from public and private sectors in Vietnam. 9 lecturers with noted expertise in food analysis from Japanese and Vietnamese public and private sectors were invited and shared their knowledge and practical know-how based on their wide experiences in the field of food analysis. The curriculum was arranged based on consultation between VNUA, MAFF Japan and the Project. The curriculum consisted of three parts; JAS for functional component analysis (Day 1-2), ISO/IEC17025 (Day 3) and HPLC maintenance (Day 4). It was composed with cutting-edge knowledge on food analysis-related topics which consisted of Japanese Agricultural Standards (JAS), Ornithine in Shimeji Mushroom as a Functional Food, JAS Testing Methods, International Standardization in Food Industries, Traditional Japanese Medicine and Crude Drugs and ISO/IEC17025
