The Talk Show on Sustainable Food System in Partnership with IPB University 2022

The 2nd Talk-Show in Partnership with IPB University under HRD Project – Phase 3 was successfully organized on 27 September 2022. The activity was conducted virtually and attended by 124 participants from various major fields and universities in Indonesia, especially IPB University. The topic was focused on Sustainable Agriculture Food Systems, emphasizing three discussion points; (1) the correlation between Food waste and food loss to climate change, (2) promoting green strategy of agriculture practices from Japan’s perspective by promoting MEADRI (Measures for Achievement of Decarbonization and Resilience with Innovation), and (3) promoting green strategy from Indonesia Perspective by the development of Organic Farming. 3. Dr. Rumi Ide from Office 3.11 was invited to share her expertise on the discussion point (1). Mr. Gen Kunieda, Director of the Global Environmental Affairs Office, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan shares his practical know-how on point number (2). Point (3) was elaborated by Professor Ahmad Sulaeman from IPB University.
